Sarah Creasman Barnett

Originally from Arkansas, Sarah is a mother of two and a practicing attorney in addition to a highly sought-after commission artist. She has been featured in many local and national arts publications. Sarah’s art is technically excellent and stylistically unique while invoking the influence of modern masters like David Hockney, Edward Hopper, and Marc Chagall which you see in here her Interiors series. In Oletta, Sarah combines a retro portrait in a present moment, merging time and space, and includes a riff on Klee’s Senecio over Oletta’s shoulder for good measure.

She is skilled within a variety of media including digital, acrylic, and mixed media. Her work often focuses on domestic scenes, a subject close to her heart.  Sarah is inspired by atmospheric, ethereal subjects as well.
